Flat steel stabilizer

A flat steel stabilizer consisting of two flat pieces of steel grooved into the wood and glued over the entire surface. This works according to the static principle of tension and compression.

Advantages compared to a U-shaped steel and square profiles:

  • No thermal bridge due to thermal separation of the two pieces of steel .
  • Free of cavities, so no condensation forms inside.
  • The flat steel stabilizers do not show on the surface even when the building moisture is high.
  • Low weight by avoiding unnecessary steel joints.
